About Kakobuy QC Photos

The short version

Kakobuy QC Photos is a free, independent site: a searchable Kakobuy spreadsheet with a QC photo finder attached. Kakobuy does not run it. Everything that involves your money (the order, the payment, the shipping) happens on kakobuy.com.

Where each link takes you

The Buy buttons go to kakobuy.com and nowhere else. Kakobuy addresses a listing by marketplace and item number, so a Weidian find becomes kakobuy.com/item/details?url=https%3A%2F%2Fweidian.com%2Fitem.html%3FitemID%3D…, Taobao kakobuy.com/item/details?url=https%3A%2F%2Fitem.taobao.com%2Fitem.htm%3Fid%3D… and 1688 kakobuy.com/item/details?url=https%3A%2F%2Fdetail.1688.com%2Foffer%2F….html, plus a referral code, which is how the site is paid.

Where the QC photos come from

QC photos shown here come from public databases of warehouse photos. Because they belong to the seller's listing, not to any one agent, photos from buyers on other agents tell you just as much about what the seller is shipping. 1667 finds on this spreadsheet have photos on record right now; the rest are checked live when you open them. Photos are resized and served by this site, and the source databases' own watermarks are covered.

Where the listings come from

Every one of the 9,384 finds is a real Weidian listing, shown with what its seller published: photos, colourways, sizes and price. Prices are not a live feed, so check the current price on Kakobuy before paying.

How the site makes money

The Kakobuy links here include a referral code, so the site may earn a commission when you sign up or order through them. You pay exactly the same either way. Nothing on the spreadsheet is sponsored or ranked for money, and the tools need no account.

How the catalog is kept

When a find is retired and the same product is still listed under another address, its old page redirects there instead of turning into a dead end.

Corrections

A listing on kakobuy.com always outranks this page: if the two disagree on a price or on whether an item still exists, Kakobuy is right, and the next rebuild of the spreadsheet catches up.

Every find is a Weidian listing; the link tools also read Taobao and 1688 links.

Everything described here lives in the Kakobuy spreadsheet, sorted into categories and brands. Checking an item before you buy? Kakobuy QC finder shows the photos other buyers received for any listing link.
